I’ve kinda finished my first animation assignments EVER. I’m not sure why the avi looks so crappy on google videos; its probably because I didn’t shoot it correctly or something. By tomorrow, I’ll definitely have it shot right.

I’ve always been a fan of language. I applaud cleverly worded phrases, cringe when people misuse words, love writing e-mails, and, though I will deny it up and down in public, I do enjoy puns (provided they’re smart). One of the top 5 points on my checklist for potential mates is ‘witty with words’, ranking just above the ability to make animal noises. This is why, for ages after I read Much Ado About Nothing, I wished I were Beatrice, bantering poetic with her man. Admittedly, Shakespeare never mentioned Benedick being able to make piggy snorts, but I always assume that kind of thing as a given.That being said, I would like to direct you to http://dilbertblog.typepad.com/. If you don’t know who Scott Adams is, you’ll certainly be familliar with the Dilbert strips he draws. My dad’s a huge fan of them, and owns every book he’s put out, so I’m fairly familiar with his comic work. Thats not what this is about though.

I just found it last week on StumbleUpon, and blew through the archives in one sitting. Pick a post, any post, and you’ll find an amusing, irreverent and intelligently written little essay. Doesn’t matter what the content is. He delivers it with creative insight, a wonderful turn of phrase and analogies that very nearly cripple me with laughter. Even a post about the death of bath soap that would be run-of-the-mill for a lesser man, is gloriously redeemed by his witty sense of humor.

For those of you not keeping score, ‘gloriously redeemed’ marks the official start of my full blown nerd-crush. If I ever find out he can do muppet voices, there’ll be no going back.
…*sigh*

Finally finished fiddling around with the site layout. Its kinda sparse, but it’ll do for now. I’ll fix it up a little bit more when I’ve made more headway with my schoolwork. Gallery still sucks, but I are tired right now.

If you’ve never seen this wonderful little bot before, watch this first. Its basically a squishy yellow pear with immovable features and relatively limited movement, but its still so… intriguing. Also: It re-introduced me to Spoon.
